FITS For Film Studios / AAA Game Development

As a production artist for many years at AAA studios I understand the need for studios to develop main characters and NPC characters at a high quality and to industry standards. Whats always shocking to me is that each time i go to a different studio i find that myself and other artists re-create essentially the same things over and over again ie... T-shirts, jeans, jackets, military outfits etc...

The cause of this is due to how clothing specifically has been built in the past as rigid models as-well as the legalities with using assets from different studios. While some studios have unique styles that require specific sculpting techniques, others utilize scans to get a photo-real look and feel. Although fast, scans unfortunately are static and often times need cleanup work to make them production ready so we aim to bridge that gap with Fit's clothing.

 The clothing models are referenced from real world clothing and are always "live" you can essentially treat them like going to the store and buying an outfit. Styling the clothing onto your models and adding logos and designs specific to your game/film world will make the clothing unique for you. The process is fast, and you maintain consistency across the board.

FITS FOR INDEPENDENT GAME DEVELOPMENT 

As an indie developer, having the budget to populate your game worlds with quality characters can be extremely pricey. We wanted to create a set of clothing that would be especially useful for independent teams with minimal budget. We didn't just want to create one off models like "the military guy" as everyone's games using similar assets would look identical.

our goal is to put ultimate control in the hands of indie  developers, so we've created a modular clothing system that allows for customization while maintaining high quality assets.  

This level of modularity combined with FITS Fabric Material that was created specifically with clothing in mind make this even more powerful for indie developers to get unique characters specific to their game worlds.

FITS Fabric Material allows you to change colors, patterns, dirtiness, sweatiness etc...all layered on top of each other to create a final look directly within the Unreal Engine 4 and Unity game editor that you can only get using FIT'S clothing.
